Question 1

How do Chef Lives work on ChefSphere?

Accepted Answer

Community members apply to go live, then the community votes on who streams next. During a live stream, viewers see a recipe overlay with ingredients and steps, can chat in real-time, ask questions, and tip the chef with ChefCoins.

Question 2

Can I host a live cooking stream?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Apply to go live from the Chef Lives page. The community votes on applicants, and top-voted chefs get scheduled for upcoming streams. Premium and Pro members get priority scheduling.

Question 3

Are Chef Lives free to watch?

Accepted Answer

Yes, watching Chef Lives is free for all users. You can tip chefs with ChefCoins during streams to show appreciation and support your favorite community cooks.

Question 4

How does the ChefSphere voting pipeline for going live work?

Accepted Answer

Home cooks submit an application from Chef Lives; the community reviews and votes on who should stream next. ChefSphere schedules top-voted creators for upcoming slots so popular voices get airtime while keeping quality and safety expectations clear in the application flow.

Question 5

What equipment do I need to host a ChefSphere live stream?

Accepted Answer

You need a stable internet connection, a phone or webcam with a clear view of your workspace, and decent kitchen lighting so viewers can follow techniques. A basic microphone helps; ChefSphere overlays recipe steps and ingredients so viewers can cook along without guessing quantities.
