Model Withdrawal Form (Annex I(B))
The statutory model withdrawal form required by Annex I(B) of Directive 2011/83/EU, hosted as a standalone durable-medium page and linked from every order confirmation so that EU consumer Buyers can exercise their 14-day right of withdrawal against a professional Seller on the Tools Marketplace.
This page hosts the Model Withdrawal Form exactly as set out in Annex I(B) of Directive 2011/83/EU (the Consumer Rights Directive). It is made available to EU consumer Buyers of tools that were purchased from a professional Seller on the Tools Marketplace.
The model form is optional: under Art. 11(1) CRD any unambiguous statement of the Buyer's decision to withdraw is sufficient. Completing this form is, however, the simplest way to prove the date on which notice was given and it is accepted by every Seller on the Marketplace.
How to use this form
- Identify the Seller. The Seller's legal name, registered address, and an email address to which notice may be sent are shown on the order page in your account and on the invoice you received. Copy them into the "To" block below.
- Act within 14 days. Your right of withdrawal runs for 14 days from the day on which you (or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier) acquired physical possession of the goods (Art. 9(2) CRD). Send the form on or before the last day of that period.
- Send the form. You may send the form by email, by postal mail to the Seller's registered address, or through the in-app messaging thread on the order page. The platform records the time-stamp on any in-app message, which is accepted as proof of the date of dispatch.
- Return the goods within 14 days of giving notice (Art. 14(1) CRD). The Seller must reimburse all payments — including the standard cost of outbound delivery — within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the same means of payment you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise (Art. 13(1) CRD). The Seller may withhold reimbursement until the goods have been received or until you produce evidence of having sent them back (Art. 13(3) CRD).
Statutory exclusions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to certain categories listed in Art. 16 CRD. The two most common exclusions on the Tools Marketplace are:
- Goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised (Art. 16(c) CRD);
- Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery (Art. 16(e) CRD).
These statutory exclusions are shown on the listing before checkout where the Seller has invoked them; in their absence the full right of withdrawal applies.

Exercising the right of withdrawal through this form does not affect any more-favourable right the Return & Refund Policy offers on worldwide-shipped orders; where both paths are available, the more favourable outcome applies.
